With support, experience a different perspective, and you will discover new ways of thinking, doing, and being.
My counselling style
I am aware that seeking counselling may be perceived as negative — not being able to resolve your problems on your own. But it is actually a true show of strength and it takes real courage to reach out and talk to a counsellor about feeling anxious, insecure with your identity, depressed or sad, perhaps lonely, or even suicidal. You are not alone.
As a person-centred counsellor, my approach is humanistic and is based on the belief that given the right conditions, we can all reach our full potential and become our ‘true self’, whether we are neurotypical or neurodiverse. I offer these conditions in the form of empathy, non-judgement, and honesty and transparency in how I experience you and your world.
My counselling style is personalised, in line with your specific concerns and circumstances. Together, we can discover the support and resources that you can use to work through your concerns and issues. This will increase your self-confidence and enable you to see that you always have options. I integrate my counselling by applying a blended approach of different therapies, which is important to my practice, since I believe that being able to offer different perspectives to suit you specifically is truly empowering.

I encourage you to bring your own issues to the session and we will explore your feelings, thoughts, behaviour, and your world view, so you can become more self-aware and achieve greater independence.
This process may involve techniques that support you in working through the impact that short or long-term issues have had on your mental health, or a creative approach that helps you to identify what is troubling you more clearly. You may feel that your life has no purpose, perhaps your relationship has broken down, or you face real difficulties as your circumstances have changed. Maybe you are filled with anxiety or are finding your situation overwhelming. Whatever is troubling you and affecting your mental health can be brought to our sessions, whether online or in-person, where you can feel heard and supported to restore meaning and purpose in your world.
